OilTracers LLC has sold the domain name "SourceRock.com" to KLT
Gas Inc., an indirect subsidiary of Great Plains Energy (which also
owns Kansas City Power & Light). Terms of the sale were not
disclosed. OilTracers LLC continues to maintain a portfolio of
nearly 70 easy-to-remember domain names that it uses as described
below.
OilTracers LLC has two main web sites:
(1) www.oiltracers.com provides information on
applications of geological, geochemical, and engineering data to
oil exploration, development, production, and environmental
issues.
(2) www.gaschem.com
provides information on applications of geological, geochemical,
and engineering data to gas exploration, development, and
production problems.
Because many different topics are discussed on these two
websites, we have registered a series of easy-to-remember domain
names and have linked these names to specific parts of the two web
sites. For example, www.ProductionAllocation.com
takes the viewer directly to our discussion of production
allocation, while www.mudgas.com takes the viewer
directly to our discussion of geochemical mud gas logging. www.OilRef.com takes the viewer
directly to our reference database of more than 10,300 geochemical
citations, and www.OilLibrary takes the
viewer directly to our Oil Library of more than 26,000 geological
samples (from 127 countries)that are available for analysis.
