OilTracers LLC has added more than 2,300 additional oil samples,
rock samples, and natural gas samples to the OilTracers on-line
sample library, bringing the total to more than 33,500 samples from
124 countries. The OilTracers LLC Oil Library can be reached from
the main OilTracers LLC web site (www.oiltracers.com) or by using
the following two short cuts:
www.OilDatabase.com
www.OilLibrary.com
Oil geochemistry and gas geochemistry can be used to solve a
variety of petroleum exploration and development problems. Such
projects require analyses of oil, rock, and/or gas samples.
However, a company which needs these data may not have all the
samples "in house" needed to conduct a project. This is where the
OilTracers LLC Oil Library can help. The database can lead you to
the samples needed to make your project feasible.
The Oil Library lists samples owned by six major analytical
laboratories. Since samples listed in the Oil Library are drawn
from multiple sample collections, the user of the OilTracers
database may be able to locate sufficient samples to conduct a
project, while a search of an individual library might not yield
the necessary samples. Use of the sample database is FREE, but you
must register on-line as a user. A password is then instantaneously
e-mailed to you.
The OilTracers LLC Oil Library is especially powerful when it is
used in conjunction with the OilTracers LLC oil geochemistry
literature database, OilRef. The OilRef database contains a listing
of over 11,600 petroleum geochemistry-related papers that can bring
you up to date on what has been done previously on the geochemistry
of a region, basin, or field. The OilRef database can be searched
from the main OilTracers LLC web site at (www.oiltracers.com).
About OilTracers
OilTracers is a petroleum consulting company that specializes in
integration of geochemical, geological, and engineering data to
solve various petroleum exploration, development, and production
problems. In addition, OilTracers owns and operates the two premier
petroleum geochemistry web sites (www.oiltracers.com and
www.gaschem.com) The databases on these web sites, such as OilRef
(a database of >14,000 petroleum geochemistry citations), the
Oil Sample Library (a listing of >33,500 oil geological samples
owned by various laboratories), and the Petroleum Geochemistry
Dictionary provide answers to more than 5,000 inquiries a month.
OilTracers is organized very much like a law firm, with our various
scientists having complementary areas of expertise. OilTracers is
not a laboratory. We do no analyses. We only interpret data. All
oil analyses are contracted to one of several laboratories we use
around the world. These laboratories then transfer the data
electronically to OilTracers for interpretation.
