OilTracers LLC Completes International Oil Geochemistry Training On-Site at Over 40 Companies in 2004

January 6, 2004: OilTracers LLC to Exhibit at the GEO 2004, 6th Middle East Geoscience Conference and Exhibition (Bahrain, March 7-10, 2004) and at the AAPG National Convention (Dallas, Texas, April 18-21, 2004)

We invite attendees of the Geo2004 Conference in Bahrain (March 7-10, 2004) to visit the OilTracers® Booth, where several of the OilTracers® geochemists will be available for discussions. In addition, OilTracers® scientists will be co-authoring (with colleagues from BAPCO) the following oral presentation at the conference:

Murty, C. R. K., H. K. Zubari, M. A. Beeunas, M. A. McCaffrey and K. F. Thompson “Fluid transfer mechanism using geochemistry in shallow oil zones of Bahrain's Awali field”

Visit the OilTracers® booth at Geo2004 (booth #816). Talk will be on Tuesday March 9th, 2003 from 08:25-08:50 in Room 2.

The following month, OilTracers® will also be exhibiting at the AAPG Annual Convention (Dallas, Texas, April 18-21, 2004). Four of the OilTracers® Geochemists will be available for discussions at that event, including David Baskin, Mark Beeunas, Margarita Alberdi de Genolet, and Mark McCaffrey. These scientists are internationally recognized experts that specialize in integration of oil geochemistry, geological, and engineering data to solve various petroleum exploration, development, and production problems.

OilTracers LLC specializes in providing the oil industry with solutions to prospect charge risk and field development questions through the integration of petroleum geochemistry (oil fingerprinting), geology and engineering data. Working with clients, we address problems at each stage in a field's life, including charge risk assessment during exploration, field delineation, optimization of production strategies, monitoring performance of multiple pay zones during production, and environmental assessment during field abandonment.
