At OilTracers LLC, our earth scientists specialize in providing the petroleum industry with solutions to prospect charge risk and field development questions through the integration of petroleum geochemistry (oil fingerprinting), geology and engineering data.

The producing life of a petroleum field can be divided into the following stages: an “Exploration” stage, a “Development” stage, a “Production” stage, and ultimately a “Field Abandonment” stage. Petroleum geochemistry is used to solve very different problems at each of these stages in the life of a field.
